First time being sick!
Mayla had her first sickness 'the flu' for almost 2 weeks. It was the first time that she has ever thrown up and boy was it not fun. I never could image that small of a person shooting that much out of her. It was a trial and error time for me. I think that I starting her back on her regular diet too soon after and her stomach couldn't handle it. She would act so normal and then it would hit again. We were trying to get her to get liquids down and so we decided now was the time to try a Popsicle. As you can see she liked it. She wasn't sure about the cold at first but then kept grabbing it and wanted to do it herself. I am so glad that she is better, sure is hard to see your baby sick.

Poor Mayla! I remember the first time Lex had "the flu" and was amazed at how it really does "shoot" out. I never felt so helpless before. It breaks your heart. So glad to hear she is feeling better though :)
I am glad she is feeling better. The popsicle experience is funny because Brynn was sick last week and got her first taste of popsicle also.
It really is awful watching your kids be sick, the worst actually. Just wanted to stop by and wish you and Mayla a Happy Birthday this week! I can't remember if your birthdays are the 2nd and 3rd or the 3rd and 4th, but I know they are this week. Can't believe you have a 1 year old, crazy.
I am in love with the pictures of Mayla in the black and whit polka dot. SOOOOO cute!!!
