This last weekend we went to Layton for our Niece Jessica's birthday and baptism. We went to a fun center in Layton for her birthday and for the most part had a good time... you will see why later. Mayla decided she was hungry so I bought her a pretzel and she wanted to feed herself, not with a little piece but with an entire side piece. She chewed on it for a long time.
This is Mayla with her cousin Brynn. They are about 6 months apart, I think. They were watching the other kids play the arcade games and wondering what are they doing?
So This is where Mayla was NOT having FUN!!! They had this entire blow-up play area that looked like so much fun. So I took Mayla down the slide. She started to panic the moment that I started up the stairs, that didn't stop me. She was clinching me the whole way down. And then we tried it again. Same thing. She is not ready for slides yet.
This is after the slide. She is looking at Todd and thinking why would you let mom do that?
Todd even just tried to sit her on the side of the play area and this is her reaction. Maybe its because she missed her nap! All in all I think she just plain didn't like it.
After all the torture she went and snuggled with dad because he is the softy and wouldn't make her suffer through any more, and she just loves her Daddy.

That's funny! I would have done the exact same thing and then Isabel would have cuddled with her daddy, too. Isn't it great?! :) Love the shirt! Looks like it fits Mayla great. Love you guys!
That was odd to see her so nervous, she is usually all smiles!It was great to see you three! hope we can get together again soon, without any slides!
