For fathers day weekend we went to visit Todds dad in Wyoming. There is a rendezvous every year and so we go up there to do mountain man stuff. My parents came up also and so I was able to use my moms camera again. We went up to roast some hot dogs and the boys shot a little bit. It had been raining a lot and so it was so green and beautiful so we took some pictures of Mayla.

She likes to sit on the most random of things and so we sat her on this stump and she loved the attention she received. Just a side note on that, She likes to sit in the big part of the shopping cart at the store and so she will find anything to sit on. The other day she sat on a jar of pickles, and then an other time she sat on a barb-q bottle and I am not sure how she stayed on it. It sure is cute thought to she her try to balance while I am pushing her around.
If you don't know us very well and what the mountain man stuff is then you will be a little confused at this pic. We go to rendezous and dress up and Mayla didn't have anything to wear. So leave it up to my Dad and his need for projects, he made her this leather dress. It is the cutest thing ever on her. I have a leather shirt that I wear that is almost identical. And the quill wheel on the front I actually made years ago for my dad and he passed it down to Mayla. That just makes it that much more special to us. Thanks Dad.
Having said all that, she is not the biggest fan of it yet. She gets upset to get it on and then is just not sure what to do. We really don't care...and make her wear it anyway. Which only lasts for a couple of minutes.

Love the leather shirt! Mayla has such a little Todd smile in that close up shot. That smile looks just like Todd's. Love it.
