Happy Birthday Mayla

Today is Mayla's 2nd Birthday. Sure is crazy to think two years ago she came into our home. She sure is the love of our life. We are so grateful to have her and we love her so much. Happy Birthday Mayla!!

Today is her actual birthday but we are going to have a party for her on Saturday. Plus Todd is out of town anyway and so it works out perfect. Grandma and Grandpa sent her a present and she saw it this morning and I couldn't take it away so she opened it. She just loves to open gifts. Doesn't really care what is inside too much, it is the joy of just opening it that she loves.

Yesterday was my Birthday. I turned the big 30!! Yup I am on the down hill now! Ha Ha We had a bunch of family up for dinner and cake. I received some really nice gifts and am so grateful to have such a loving family to spend my birthday with. The 2nd picture up is Mayla and her cousin Sadie opening my gifts. They were a big help.
Just a fun picture to put in. Mayla and I made sugar cookies the other day. That was the first time Mayla has helped me and she did great. She loved to roll. It does make a mess to have a little helper but so much more fun.
