Books and Bunny Tails

Mayla has always loved us to read to her. She now has figured out that she can read too.. in her own way. She wants me to pull books off the shelf for her to read. So I pulled out her basket of books instead and she goes through everyone and reads bits from it and then puts them in a pile. She actually knows a lot more about the stories than I realized. It is sweet to hear her interpretation.

I am sure you have heard of a pony tail, but have you ever done a bunny tail. Well... that is what Mayla ends up with when her hair is pulled back. With her curls it just makes this little 'bunny tail'. This was the first time I have pulled it all the way back. It made her look even more grown up. Todd suggested it and it did look pretty cute, before her nap anyway!!
