Saturday June 5 we had a Bridal Shower for Todd's sister Shelly. It was at my sister-in-Laws (Traci) house in Clinton. Definatly have to show the food that we had. I was incharge of the candy Bar. It was Fun to get it all together and I think all the kids enjoyed the Candy, big and Small!!
I should have taken a picture of the Gummy bears after they had been in the sun for a couple of hours. Yup, they melted into a glob in the middle of the dish. Kids thought it was cool, I thought it looked terrible. Thanks to Shelly though for cleaning it all up for me.
Traci had some delicious cookies and fruit kabobs. So Yummy. Mayla thought they were the greatest thing. She loves fruit and who can resist it on a Kabob!! I was a little worried about her and not poking her eye out, but she did really well. She would chew the fruit off instead of sliding it to the end. Whatever works;)
Doing a little clean up.
I asked her if she liked it and I think she was satisfied.
The next thought was, "Mom, I'm Sticky!" Guess her self cleaning didn't cut it.
Mayla could reach the treat table and so she continued to help herself. She probably didn't even eat a whole cookie, but took probably 3 off the table. She would eat a couple bites and would see the kids playing and would trow the cookie down and go play.
Not too sure what she was doing with her shirt here, the only thought I had was she didn't want any tan lines, Hey who doesn't!
Mayla played hard ALL day with the cousins. She got pretty tired but wouldn't take a nap with all the excitement going on. Needless to say she was asleep in the car approximately 5 minutes after we left and slept the whole way home, woke up to get PJ's on, went to bed, slept until 8am. Ohh the joys of being a kid.

I just wanted to tell you that your candy display was oh so cute! If I ever get the chance to do something like that, I'm totally going to copy :) It's the highest form of flattery, right? Thanks for the treats! My kids especially are very thankful!!

That candy bar looks yummy. I can not believe how grown up Mayla looks!
