Happy Birthday Todd

This year Todd turned the big 30! His birthday was on a Monday so I decided to surprise him on Friday with a party with some of our friends. He is not easy to surprise and I was worried that he had figured it out when he went snooping around the house! He said he really had no idea...so I will just have to believe that. I was in such a hurry to get everything ready that I forgot my camera to capture the surprise. One of those things you kick yourself for but can do nothing about.

To finish it off we had pie cakes. sorry if you have never had one because they are Fabulous!! Thanks to my mom for helping make them.

Then on Monday we had the family over for some dessert. Mayla told Aunt Krista that she needed her picture taken. That's a pretty sweet little girl!

Opening presents with Mayla's help of course. I made Todd a little book with some memorable moments in it from the past 30 years. It was mainly pictures of him and Mayla, I had a hard time finding many without the two of them together, Hmm I wonder why?

The main gift of the night was money. Maybe that is because he is VERY hard to shop for and ends up taking everything back anyway. I think we are starting to catch on.

WE are so grateful for family and friends and the support that they give us. We enjoy each one and thank those who were able to come celebrate my sweet husbands day.
