Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas eve with family at my Grandma & Grandpa's home. We had dinner and then we have a program where the kids (and adults) get to share their talents with the family. Mayla did a great job singing her Santa song ( to the tune of BINGO). She was a little quiet but did a perfect job.
Jax just enjoyed sitting around and watching it all.
My Mom brought some chimes and music. We all had a certain number and when your number showed up then you hit the chime to make a Christmas song. It actually was so much fun and we played about 5 songs. Mayla and I worked as a team.
Jax was interested in all the breakable items. They played music and lit up and so that was very entertaining.

As a tradition we end the evening with the reenactment of the nativity. Jax was baby Jesus. He truly was confused by the whole scene. As you can tell by how focused he is on Mary.

Mayla was the star/angel. She was so beautiful and bright!

We were pretty short on numbers this year. My Dad and Uncle Bryan had to join in the fun, really I think they enjoyed it..haha.
Kids opening their gifts from great grandma and grandpa..its no surprise, PJ's. But oh how we love getting them.
Just before bed the kids set out Milk and Cookies for Santa. Mayla was really excited this year.
