Bear Lake

May 18-20
Todd's work offers the employees a stay at one of their condos for a weekend. The slots filled up fast and so we pretty much were left with this weekend. We had to plan in advance and I didn't know that it was the same weekend as the dance review but it all worked out.
The condo was at Ideal Beach at Bear Lake. We decided to make it sort of a family reunion for Todd's family. Not all the family could make it, but we had such a fun time.
It was pretty chilly and definitely too cold to even wade in the water. We mad the most of it and just kept our jackets on. The group consisted of Todd, me and kids, Valerie, Cody, Traci and kids.
enjoying the swings and then also played on the playground. We did play in the sand and make sand castles.  Which I forgot to take pics of.
Todd and Cody playing a little catch.
Jax was teething and was pretty cranky at some points. He was biting his zipper, probably trying to release the pressure. He hung out in the stroller for a little bit and then we sat him in the sand. This was his first experience with sand and it really wasn't his idea of fun. He didn't know what to do with it, plus it was so rocky that it didn't feel the least bit good between the toes.
He liked playing in the rocks instead. And tasting them as well.
Ohh the joys of teething and runny noses.

Mayla wasn't too sure about throwing rocks at first but once Brynn was trying it Mayla decided to try it out.
 Jax and Mom
Mayla found lots of seashells. She made us wash them and keep them in a cup. She gets very attached to things like that.
