Happy Birthday Little Man Jax

We celebrated Jax birthday a few days early, but who wouldn't like that? We had lots of family over and enjoyed dinner and the company. I wish that I would have taken a picture the day before of Jax. I thought he needed a nice haircut for his party. Boy was that a task. I put him outside and just followed him around with the buzzer taking advantage of him stopping for 2 seconds. I took a lot off and it sure made him look like a little man.
He really didn't care too much about opening the presents. He liked what was inside so much that he really didn't care to move on to the next one.

This picture explains it all. Jax is interested in the new toy and the three girls in the back are enjoying opening the rest of the gifts. Yup, he really doesn't care.
I am totally not sure how this photo happened but I love it. Again showing us all moving so fast around him and he is just watching us, I wish I knew what he was thinking!!
He has a face of pure excitement.
I am pretty sure he is looking at that cake and thinking, "wow they really just put that whole cake right in front of me?" "they are crazy"
Just by the look at the cake I thought for sure that he was going to just dive right in. He really didn't care for the cake at all. He tried a bite and thought ok this might be good, then he noticed how messy it was. We decided to try a fork. Again he really didn't care for the taste or texture, not sure.
Then all at once he was DONE. I am not sure why we want a child to demolish a cake so that we have to clean it up. I actually was pretty excited that he didn't attack it. He must have known, what a good son!!
Not too sure how this all came about, but we soon found out what he liked better than cake...ice cream from the carton. He was in heaven. Literally his head was in the carton trying to get any taste he could. He didn't stop until it was gone, good thing it was pretty much empty to start with. Next time we should just go right for the ice cream.
Jax, he truly is our little Man. He is always on the GO. I call him "crazy town" and just am amazed how different he is than Mayla. We truly love him and wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Birthday Son, We love you.
