August 24, 12
Not sure if I need to explain this picture. 1)its Jax 2)he is a boy 3)no fear That pretty much sums it up!
He couldn't make it all the way on top, but he sure gave it all he had.
I noticed that he was being really quiet while playing in sisters room, that usually means he is causing trouble. To my surprise he was just taking care of Mayla's baby. He was being so sweet and soft with her and feeding her the bottle. That is a pretty big deal for our rough and tough little man.

Todd's work put on a huge summer party for all the employees. It was at Thanksgiving point and it was a full blown carnival for the kids. They had every blow up bounce house and slide that you could find, tons of games to play with prizes, and lots of food. Jax played a golf game and won this ball.
Dad and Mayla playing the golf game. Mayla got a hole in one.
While we were eating dinner they had this live band playing very loud old rock music. Jax was in heaven. He pretty much stayed right there for an hour. He loved every minute of it. At one point he was 1 step away from joining them on stage. He just stood there and swayed to the music. The singer called him his little groupie. This kid LOVES music. He really can feel the beat.
Mayla riding the horse. The point was to lasso the calf but that was a little to difficult, so she just sat there looking cute.
We finished the night with a train ride. It was pretty small and ran on wheels but the kids thought it was pretty fun. This is our friends daughter who ran around with Mayla doing whatever Mayla wanted to go do. She was so sweet to entertain her. We then had shaved ice and called it a night.
They are such a giving company and treat the entire family very well. As we were leaving they gave Mayla a scooter, jax a little bike and us a nice blanket as gifts. It is nice to have Todd work for someone who really appreciates the sacrifices that he makes.
