Fort Bridger Rendezvous

September 1, 2012
Its time for our annual favorite Rendezvous at Fort Bridger Wyoming. Its filled with hanging with family, shopping on traders row, and most important Shooting!
Here are the guys for the Men's Shoot. My Dad Ron, Todd, Todd's Dad Alan, Todd's 2 brothers: Cody and Shane.

Todd and Shane
Just a good old Father Son chat
I was able to shoot at the Women's shoot this year. I didn't win anything this time but had a great time shooting and getting tips from my Dad.

For some reason we didn't get an entire family photo this year, but I managed to get the kids to slow down long enough to get this photo. Ohh I love my kids
Mayla and her cousin Brynn played so cute with their toys. They were good little buddies.
Aunt Traci had the kids make their own bean bags. Mayla was very excited to sew her bag closed. She did a really good job and due to that fierce concentration with the project. Thanks Traci
Jax was busy as ever. He wanted to be out and about running crazy all day. He enjoyed his Popsicle  and so did his entire face and hair.

We took this bean bag toss game for the kids to play, little did we know that Jax would be the one to enjoy it the most. He didn't want to toss the bean bags instead he wanted to take it apart and put it back together over and over. It was so cute to see his concentration and how he stuck with it until every piece was in place. He did this for about 2 hours straight.
Playing Popsicle swards with papa
When he slows down enough to get a photo you have to take advantage of the moment.

Hanging with Salvo
Jax sure loves his Dad. Todd has a little tune and song that he sings to Jax, and as soon as he starts singing Jax lays his head on Todd's shoulder until the song is over. He really is wild and crazy but ohh so sweet!
I am not sure what Salvo thought about all this, but he sure seemed to enjoy it. We found some clothes for him to dress up and he fit the part. He was so sweet with all the kids and kept entertained.  He was so nervous to shoot a gun, I believe he had never even touched a gun so this was a pretty new idea. It took him awhile to get over his nerves but he did end up shooting one shot!
Mayla with all her cousins. It was sure fun to have so many cousins to play with.
They had a great time coloring, and painting rocks. (notice Todd in the background!)

Salvo took this photo and I thought it was so perfect to end the trip with!
