Jax is sure growing up fast. I enjoy the morings that we get to hang out while Mayla is at school. He has a lot to say, which mostly is rambling stuff, but he is picking up more and more words. He also understands so much. He likes to follow Mayla around and copy what she does. Mayla has a cute little alphabet song that she sings and does sign language to. Jax has started to pick it up as well. He will walk around the house saying Baby, Baby, b-b-bbb, while he rocks his arms back and forth.
This was a sticker that he got at the grocery store and wanted to put it on his head. He sure didn't like when he pulled it off along with his hair.
He also loves to play with Mayla's learning computer. He mostly enjoys the music.
I better explain the red stained shirt that Jax has on. This was also the day that Jax had his first big injury. Well it all started with his interest in the dishwasher. Whenever I open the door he is right there to help me unload the dishes. I always grab the knives first so that he doesn't have a chance to. I wasn't fast enough this time and just as I grabbed to top of the knife he came in and grabbed the (newly sharpened) blade. It cut him just like soft butter. I hurry and wrapped it with paper towel and put pressure on it, it was bleeding a ton. Todd was out of town so I called him and then called my mom to come and help me. I wasn't sure where to take him so I called the Doctor that I work for and he came over to check it out. After we determined that nothing was damaged we headed to the office for 3 stitches. He was so tough and brave, the worst part was getting him to hold still. My mom had to hold him down and then we strapped his arm down and I pried open his hand. It was not fun my any means but I was so proud of how good he did considering the injury. He didn't even try to get the band-aid off. I was thankful for my mom and Dr. Goble who both came to the rescue.
