We will miss you!

Todd and I have only been away from our kids for a total of 2 nights, well both of us gone at the same time. Todd worked really hard this year and for a reward from the company they take you on an all paid dream vacation. This year it was to Thailand. We were so excited to go but I was truly going to miss the kiddos. We really were lucky enough to have Todd's sister Shelly and her husband Brian come stay at our house with the kids. That was truly a blessing that they could help us out. We decided to get the kids each a toy before we left. Mayla had a hard time at first when we told her we were going on this long trip. She would talk about it a lot and was always asking how many more sleeps until we go. I was worried that she would have a really hard time, but the nice thing was that we told her a month in advance so she got over her concerns and was not worried at all when we left.
I knew I would miss these 2 little ones but I was blessed to know they were in good hands.
