Koh Samui

Our next destination was to Koh Samui. It was a little over an hour flight to get to this amazing Island. We stayed at another four season resort. We are standing and the entrance to the resort and continuing below us along this mountain side where our rooms/house!! We were taken around on golf carts that they called "buckey's".
This is our room that we stayed in. You would enter through the gates and come across a bridge to come to our own pool!! I mean really, how often to you get your own pool. It was the most impressive place that we stayed.
We woke up the next day and decided to head out on a tour of the Island on scooters. There were only 3 of us couples that went. Can I just say that this may have been more dangerous than hanging with Tigers. The driving there is just past CRAZY. Cars will pass on any side of the road and you are an object to just dodge along the way. We truly were lucky to be so safe. We had a blast though. yup those helmets were the best!!

We stopped to hike up this trail to see a waterfall. It was an adventure. We truly felt the love of the humidity at this point. We really are not sure if we made it to the "waterfall" because there really wasn't one to see. But we saw some beautiful scenery along the way.

This was the best part of the entire day. We thought we better fill up before we continue on the last half of the trip. We see the gasoline sign and so we pull over. To our surprise those bottles lined up on the cart are not alcohol, but in fact gasoline. You buy it by the jar apparently. It was pretty awesome.

We stopped at this little restaurant to have some lunch, which really was a coke and some french fries, but can I say the Thailand people can make some mean french fries!! We saw these chairs and umbrella and made it a great photo opportunity.

Holy cow, I LOVE these posts!! That hotel room looks AMAZING. The scenery is lovely - I love the waterfall.

I can't believe you pet those tigers, that is truly remarkable. I love the elephant pictures too.

Oh Trishia! This is just incredible.
