Fort Bridger Wyoming Rendezvous

This is our favorite Rendezvous of the year. It definetely is the largest one we go to and we enjoy shooting and spending time with the family.
Todd and Shane entered into the Mountain Man run again this year. They ran all over camp with their hands tied together doing things like, throwing a tomahawk and starting a fire with flint and steel. They both got a\their work out in for the day! Todd finished second place.

Sweet Mayla with her new quilled bag that she choose.
Grandma took the kids to play in the little creek that runs through camp. They had a blast getting their toes wet.

I have always wanted to attend the church meeting and this year we finally made it. I was so surprised to how many people were there. It was truly amazing. It was testimony meeting and they had to cut about 5 people still in line out because we ran out of time. It was a very spiritual experience to sit in the field and be dressed in our mountain man clothes and think about our pioneer ancestors. What an experience I will always remember.
Waiting at counsel fire for the final scores for shooting. and when I say waiting I mean it, They seriously made this last as long as possible. But I was sure glad that we hung in there....
Because Todd was the winner of the gun. He was pretty ecstatic and we were so proud of him.

Lastly what would camping be without a little boy playing in the dirt. He sat there for a long time burring and then digging up little pieces of wood. Ohh he is boy through and through.
