Christmas Eve

Time for our annual Christmas eve party at my Grandma's house. We enjoyed a yummy dinner, as always. Then we has a nice evening of talent sharing and the nativity. We were a little small on numbers this year, but we enjoyed the company and the simplicity of the evening.
We are so lucky to have "older" cousins who are willing to play with my little ones. They played hide-n-go-seek for a while and were just so cute with them.
Jax was entertained not by our talents, but by a phone...surprise!!
Mayla sang a few songs that she learned in Kindergarten. She has a cute one where she talks about Rudolph's nose and so she plugs here while she sings it. It was my favorite song!
Jax was pretty proud of Mayla and jumped right up to give her a hug.
This year we were so short in numbers that we convinced Grandpa to join in the nativity. Mayla was a beautiful angel.
Jax was only interested in the dog/sheep. He kept going over and giving her hugs. Sweet little man.
Todd was persuaded to accompany me in a song. I am just as surprised as anyone!!
Grandma and Grandpa always give the kids new PJ's. They loved them and were excited to put them on.

Jax gave Grandpa a hug for giving him the PJ's

Mayla got everything together for Santa. She made sure that he had a sweet snack as well as a healthy one. She was beyond excited for Santa to come. She was counting down the days pretty much since Halloween. It was sure fun to see her so excited.
