Pig tails!!

Mayla's hair has been long enough for a long time to do pigtails but I just never have done them, mostly because she won't sit still! Today I thought that we would give it a try. It will be fun to continue to try new do's as her hair grows.

They are not perfect but I think that it will take some time for me to get used to doing hair with a wiggly head.
Mayla is very much into talking on the phone. She has her own jibber language and it it pretty cute. she will walk around the house with my phone and talk, and sometimes she calls people without me knowing and will talk. She has figured out that anything can be used as a phone. She will use her shoe, any toy, paper, and this day she was eating a roll and decided she needed to talk to someone. She picked up the roll and this is her chatting. Sure is interesting to see the things that she comes up with.
- As a side note, she has been very hard this past week. I thought that it was teething but nothing is coming in. Ohh boy what to do with a baby that cries at you pretty much ALL day. I have no idea what to do. Maybe it is just a stage but sure is hard to not know what the problem is. I am not sure why but I think it feels better to say it here to those who can understand my trial!! Good thing I love her:)

Yeah for pigtails! They really come in handy when baby has a runny nose. Keeps the hair out of the face! As for the crying, well you get used to it. Some days are better than others :)It does make it harder, though, when you can't understand what it is they want!

I always say things like that, "good thing I love you kade" with a huge sigh attached to it. We have definitely been there before and we'll probably be there again. I just have to tell myself "this too shall pass" or "tomorrow is a new day". I'm sure you're more patient than I am. Hope she has a really great week starting any time now!!! Her pigtails are darling, good job!

Those are very cute pigtails! Sorry you are having a rough week. I've had a few days like that with Remy and I'm sure we'll have many many more to come. Hope she gets feeling back to her normal cheery self!

Those little pigtails are adorable! I think sometimes our kids are trying to train us... they scream and cry so we THINK something is wrong, just to see how many things we'll come up with to sidetrack them. Smart lil things!

Mayla looks so cute with "piggies"!
I have heard that teething can start 3 months before the teeth show. Don't know if it is true, but it makes me feel better just to think that may be it when they cry and cry. love you all.

Yeah Mayla has pigtails! She is so cute. You will get used to doing her hair while she is on the go. Haylee loved sitting in front of the mirror and watching me do her hair when she was little. We need to get together this weekend and go to dinner or something fun.
