Yesterday we went to the zoo in Logan for our lunch bunch. We stopped here to see the turtle and there were also birds in the fenced area. The birds were being loud and so Mayla was yelling back at them. It was so cute. She really only noticed the animals that made noises.
She found this slide right from the start. It would take her awhile to climb up to it, but it was well worth it. She went down it once with me just so she could get the idea and then she kept doing it on her own. She liked to go down on her tummy, feet first. She really is very independent.

What fun!! We've been meaning to head up to Hogle Zoo this year and this post inspires me to do just that! It's so much for the kids... and sometime the adults too :)
