For the 24th our town has a little parade just down the street from us. Mayla has never been to a parade before and so my mom and I took her. She wasn't sure what was going on at first with the loud sirens and such and then the candy started to come. We had to show her that it was ok to pick them up at first and then she couldn't get enough.
She never wanted to put the candy down after she picked it up and so she didn't know how to pick up more with her hands full.
She would wave as the people passed by and they would throw her candy.
What a great first parade. I have never seen so much candy from such a small parade.
I forgot a bag and so we put all the candy in the stroller. Notice how full her hands are!
