Papa was kind enough to share his mountain dew...good thing nothing wires this kid more than just everyday life and that he sleeps very well.
The last day we headed to the lake. Ohh was it beautiful. We all divided up and some went in a canoe and others in a paddle boat. The kids were so excited.
Grandma and Grandpa hanging out in the shade
Richard and I took Mayla and Clair in a canoe. Mayla was a little nervous about tipping over and so we tried to keep it nice and easy.
Jax went with Grandma and Papa in a paddle boat. He wasn't sure at first but once we sat him up better he was having a great time.
Jax favorite part was the huge sand pit. He played in the sand with Papa for about an hour before we made him get out. He would have stayed there all day if we let him.
Papa then started to bury they kids.
Jax was excited at first and then he didn't want to be buried any longer. Lets just say we had sand in every nook and cranny.
It was such a beautiful day.
We did end up with a bee sting on Mayla. She was hurting pretty bad and so we made up some mud and put it on the sting and she felt much better.
