Easter Egg Hunts

This year we decided to have a neighborhood/friend egg hunt. Last year we tried to go to a few places in town but they were so crowded it was too crazy. This year we invited some friends over to have our own egg hunt. Everyone brought over eggs the day before for us to hide. The only problem with that is the weather. Yup it snowed the night before, and was very cold! We had to wait until the morning to hide the eggs in the snow. Luckily the sun was out and most of the snow had started to melt. It tuned out to be perfect..except for the mud. The kids had fun and that is all that matters.

 Let me explain the awesome jacket Jax has on. I couldn't find his and so in a mad dash to find something I had to use one of Mayla's old ones. I think he held his own in it.

Easter Sunday we headed over to my Grandma's house for dinner and another egg hunt. Jax was so excited to find an egg that he didn't care to find anymore.

 Mayla was on a mission. She wanted to find the best ones. She was taking her time and enjoying the hunt.
