Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins

This year we had many opportunities for some fun with pumpkins. Mayla was so excited to decorate and carve pumpkins this year.
For family home evening we set off to find some pumpkins. We headed to a place close to us the puts hundreds of pumpkins out on their curb to sell every year. Mayla found herself a perfect little pumpkin. This was early in the month so we decided to decorate it instead of carving. She used the 'perfect' amount of puff paint!!
I am a cub scout leader and so my kids always go with me to scouts. For an activity we painted pumpkins. Mayla was very careful and did an excellent job. Jax managed to keep the paint on the pumpkin (well most of it) with a little help from a friend.

My aunt Machelle then invited us over for a family night Pumpkin carving party! Mayla was so excited to entire time to see her pumpkin come to life. Thanks to Machelle who helped her do all the knife work.

That is one excited little girl, with the cutest pumpkin of the night.
Wow, this was not our best shot of the night but it was the only one we got.
Mayla thought it was so funny to dress her pumpkin in a costume. Silly Girl!
